“Maison&Objet,” the international trade show for interior and design, which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2024, will take place at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre in France from January 16 to 20, 2025. Since its launch in 1994, Maison&Objet has been held twice a year in January and September, as a leading international exhibition in the fields of decoration, design and lifestyle. It serves as a platform for showcasing the latest trends in the interior and design industries, creating opportunities for interaction between exhibitors and buyers, and promoting business development.
For this edition, 2,365 exhibitors from 59 countries and regions worldwide will participate, with 75 companies and organizations from Japan. Among them, Marunao, a manufacturer based in Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture, known primarily for producing chopsticks, will be making its debut. Additionally, the Edo Tokyo Kirari Project, which gathers manufacturers from Tokyo, will continue its participation. In addition to ceramics and glassware, numerous Japanese exhibitors will showcase products related to lighting, furniture and interior decoration.
Maison&Objet places great emphasis on hospitality and has dedicated efforts to provide information and proposals for professionals in the hotel and restaurant industries. In addition to introducing new brands, manufacturers and practical business solution such as product customization, a conceptual hotel designed by architect and interior designer Julien Sebban will be displayed in the “What’s New? In Hospitality” space, offering an inspiring experience. Another must-see space, “What’s New? In Decor” will present future market trends through the colors and materials of new products, with insights from Elizabeth Leriche.
The theme of this year’s exhibition is “Sur/Reality.” It focuses on a fresh interpretation of Surrealism, an art movement that emerged about 100 years ago and continues to influence the present day. The exhibition promises to be an exciting opportunity to explore diverse exhibitors and the latest trends.
