HIIRONO
An appearance like iron surprises with the pleasant light feel of wood. The finished work, having gone through numerous processes, is filled with a deep texture, the gold leaf not gaudy but rather creating beautiful shadows. The artist’s mastery of lacquer work is deeply impressive, and the bowl grows in character every time one holds it in one’s hand.
