Tin, a rust-proof metal, has long been valued as a material for tea and sake cups because it is said it preserves the quality of the water and helps to smooth out the flavor of sake. Founded in 1916 in Takaoka, a city known for metal casting in Toyama Prefecture, Nousaku’s tin sake wares are cherished by many for their beautiful luster, comfortable feel, and superior design. A cup of chilled sake served in a tin cup carefully crafted by artisans is sure to be even more aromatic and delicious.
