A lacquered jewelry box carefully and patiently crafted by specialized Wajima artisans to bring out the profoundly deep beauty of layer upon polished layer of lustrous lacquer. The resulting deep hues give this jewel box a fantastic expression reminiscent of the night sky. The softly sprinkled gold powder adds an unassuming yet powerfully attractive aura, adding light to everything around it like beautiful hanabi (fireworks, but literally “flowers of fire”), blooming in the night sky.
